Hi Ryan,
I saw your bicycle comment on Derek's page. You win the "Big Time Bicycling 'Dancing with MULTIPLE DOGS' All at One Time Award". I have just read 13 cycling books and none of them dealt with a pack of dogs. I am in the process of setting up a strategy to test several resources...the premise being that there is NO SINGLE SILVER BULLIT. So it becomes a process of seeing which ones are most effective given the type of dog and situation. (1) Using a "Large" Boat Horn attachment to a can of compressed air...to create a LOUD startling sound (2) Several Ketchup/Mustard size (clear) squesze bottles filled with Distilled Vinegar...to be squeeze sprayed at face of dog(s)...10 to 15 feet range (3)A Ski Pole that can be condensed for carrying on your bike or expanded when you need it. (4) Mace or Pepper Spray (Although this gets a little dicey with any wind/breeze/re-positioning to the dogs).

Out running the dogs may or may not work. I'm all for gettig my feet on the ground (bike under control) and dealing with a dog(s) up front when I see one/or he makes a move toward me...Using my bike as a shield, but also deploying some of the other above resources as needed.

All...or some...or none of these may work. But, you've got to start somewhere. It's a process. Hope this helps. When all else fails...Remember, we are musicians/singers. You can always try singing....and prayer.

Amazing! Youngest of Eleven & still motivating the rest of us!
On a side note, just showed Flat Stanley to my boys & they thought it rocked! You could do voice-over work too.
Love the music; love the passion.
Keep it up!
